Who is Jones The Bat?

Hey, I'm Rich and I'm here to bring the cricket community together.

I have been playing Cricket for Newport Fugitives CC in the South Wales League since 1992. I've amassed over 11,000 runs in 1st XI cricket and hope to add a few more in the future.

My love for cricket has led me to create a podcast that focuses on cricket in Wales. In the podcast I interview standout people from around the Welsh Cricket scene and ask them about the best players they've played with and against and their most memorable times on and off the cricket field.

I'm also an ECB Level 3 Advance Cricket Coach and I am heavily involved in the junior coaching pathway in East Wales. If you want any advice or a coaching session, get in touch

Also, If you need your bat tidied up or repaired, don't hesitate to contact me. I've now refurbed well over 300 bats for players from social midweek players to professional players at Glamorgan CCC.
